ServicesIdentify homeless veterans in the streets and shelters. This allows us to provide t
hem with necessary assistance to receive benefits they may be eligible for, as well as their qualifying dependants. Working hand and hand with the local VA Homeless Coordinator to ensure that the Veterans is enrolled in the proper programs to achieve the necessary treatment required. - We work with VA employees to schedule appointments to file the necessary paperwork for medical treatment, locate shelters and training facilities. We work with professional that provide grooming, computer skills training and job placement.
- We also, offer assistance to Disabled Veterans with regard to identifying “veteran friendly” agencies that will assist the veteran in securing gainful employment or any assistance that may be needed.
- We direct veterans and their families to the proper agencies that will assist them in filing claims for VA disability compensation and pension; vocational rehabilitation ,employment; education; home loan guaranty; life insurance; death benefits; health care and much more. Provide information on services, such as information seminars, counseling and community outreach throughout the United States.
- Our primary goal is to help Veterans heal, grow and regain their dignity as well as their independence that they deserve through the following channels; physically, mentally, socially or vocationally.
- Helping Our Veteran is a Non Profit Organization that was started by a Disabled Veteran.
